Wisdom

Wisdom is said to arrive from experience but cannot be taught. Yet we do attempt to seek and share wisdom, so I'm not at all sure it cannot be taught. (Of course, it might be taught through a practical lesson versus a lecture, but . . . ) Confucious said wisdom can arrive from: reflection, imitation, experience. Reflection is described as the noblest mode of discovery; experience the most tough because it may come out of regret. But it's not true that wisdom must come out of regret. Numerous passageways . . .
